Designed by German artist Luise Terletzki-Scherf (1902-1966) in 1931 this figurine is remarkably realistic and captures the Sea Lion form beautifully. Stamped on the underside with "Nymphenburg" and the shield/crown mark both stamped and impressed. A wonderful collectible for the animal figure collector!
