This beautifully decorated romantic scene footed cup and saucer was made between 1947-1952 in Western Germany. Each miniature scene was a work done by French painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard and is marked with his name. The porcelain is marked with the blue Beehive indicating Royal Vienna. Heavy gold trim is accented with tiny dots of paint.
Very good vintage condition. There is a mark across the blue beehive on the cup that is not a crack, but appears to be a manufacturing flaw and does not affect the front side. No other condition issues noted.
