Roseville Pottery Silhouette Cornucopia Vase 721-8

In 1950 Roseville introduced "Silhouette" and it was advertised as "ultra modern shapes with exciting bold colors". This vase is the tan or Olive Brown color. The name silhouette refers to the darker backgrounds within each vignette which focuses the attention on the decorations. The motif on this vase extends beyond the borders of the silhouette shape creating dimension. Marked with "Roseville U.S.A." and shape number 721-8.


Excellent condition with only 2 minor factory flaws (color misses) on the base as seen in the last photo.
