Quezal Art Glass began manufacturing in 1901 in Brooklyn, NY. Two of its founders previously worked for Tiffany & Co. Quezal’s wares are known for the use of bold iridescent colors, particularly blue, gold, purple, white and green.
This 4" vase is an exquisite example of their glass. It is in the art nouveau style with the "pulled feather" pattern on a calcite base all around. Seen here are iridescent gold, green and purple. The inside is entirely gold luster. The bottom of the vase is signed "Quezal".
Condition is excellent. There is one very small pinhead size miss in the gold luster of one feather as seen in photo #10. Please see the many photo's for condition. All sides have been photographed.
2 1/4" top opening
